Before you learn this trick you should know how to ollie. If you can frontside 180 it will help as well. In case you’re unfamiliar with how to figure out the difference between backside and frontside, remember that you’ll be approaching the rail with your back facing it.
The following trick tip will show you how to do bs boardslide
Set both of your feet up just as you would for an ollie. You really don’t need to change anything about this foot set up.
1. Find a grindable rail, push a few times and get some speed. The faster you go, the longer you will be able to slide for. Ride backside up to the rail.
2. Approach rail with proper speed, at a slight angle to help you into getting onto it. Pop the tail and slide your front foot up the board executing an ollie, while slightly turning your body and board 90 degrees putting you over the rail. This trick really starts once you get on the rail. Try to land the center of your board on the rail to make balance easier.
3. To land from the grind, simply turn in the direction you want to land out of. If you want to get out before the end of the object, you’ll have to do a slight pop to get off.
