A forward flip is one of the nicest looking trick and can be a very fun trick to pull off. It is best described as an ollie, late front footed hardflip, as it flips over end between your legs. You should know kickflips before you even attempt the forward flip, being comfortable landing simple flips is a must have, before attempting this

The following trick tip will show you how to do forward flip aka murder flip aka dolphin flip
Best position for the front foot is directly behind the bolts, with your toes angled forward. But experiment a little, the key is to find a comfortable position. Your back foot needs to be in the best, most comfortable ollie position for you.
1. Push a few times to get rolling at a comfortable speed.
2. Pop your board like an ollie. Be sure to pop up hard so the board has room to flip. Flick your front foot straight off the nose as hard as you can.
3. Suck up your feet up as much as you can, and let the board spin under you. Once the board has gone past vertical you can bring your feet back down onto the grip.
4. Catch it, and land over the bolts, roll away.
